Punto Banco Tournament

Casino de Monte-Carlo is organising a Punto Banco tournament in its private lounges on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 July with an exceptional guaranteed Prize Pool of €100,000.

What’s Punto Banco?

Punto Banco, also called “mini-Baccarat”, is a variant of Baccarat that originated in South America. Unlike related games, Punto Banco is easy and can be learned quickly.

Goal of the game: bet whether the Player (“Punto”) or the Banker (“Banco”) will obtain as close to 9 points as possible with a maximum of 3 cards.

The Player can bet on 3 different outcomes: “Banco” means that they play for the bank and “Punto” means they play against the bank. A tie bet means that they are betting on a tie between the Banker and the Player.

Once the bets are made, the dealer first deals a card to the Player then to the Banker. The results of the dealt cards are then given.

You win if you bet on the hand that obtains the most points!

The tournament takes place over two days. It starts Friday night at 21.30 with a cocktail in the casino and ends Saturday night with the final scheduled for 22.00.

The finalists will share the Prize Pool of €100,000 euros minimum
