Annual closing period for the Monte-Carlo Beach

The Monte-Carlo Beach is taking a break and preparing for the 2015 season.

Annual Closing October 2013 to March 2014

The Monte-Carlo Beach closed its doors on 26 October after a 2014 season characterised by local and international clients flocking to the most beautiful sites of the Riviera! The level of excellence in the service is ensured by the employees’ professionalism and knowledge of clients’ expectation. As the season ends, so does the career of two emblematic people in the place, Arnaud Leyder, Main Cashier at the Club, and Vincent Borgia, 1st Maître d’Hôtel in charge of Food.

“I sincerely thank them for the quality of their work and their devoted service all these years. Just like the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, Arnaud and Vincent have always been driven by the will to provide top-quality high-end services, inspired by their passion for customer service. Many became quite emotional when saying their good-bys, recalling the numerous memories they had made over the years,” said Jean-Luc Biamonti, Deputy President.

“For 31 years I developed friendships with clients who came back year after year. We sometimes got to know 3 or 4 generations of the same family. Indeed, the Beach is first and foremost a family place, where safety and conviviality are the watchwords. The Monte-Carlo Beach offers a unique setting on the Côte d’Azur, where you can find in a single location a 5-star hotel, many different types of food including a gastronomic restaurant, a spa, a private beach, two pools, a children’s club and a water sports club”, emphasised Arnaud Leyder.

“I started working for the Société des Bains de Mer in 1971 as a commis chef at the Monte-Carlo Beach. I then joined the flying squad, followed by the Hôtel de Paris and the Café de Paris before coming back to the Beach 30 years later in 2001. The Société des Bains de Mer is one big family. At the Beach, I met many clients from other establishments, so I was able to be close to them and offer the best service,” explained Borgia.

“Vincent and Arnaud are two respected and well-liked employees with an almost 14- and 30-year career at the Beach, respectively. Thy have contributed to the Resort‘s success and popularity through the special relationships they have developed and nurtured with guests. We make a good team, and we love surprising our clients at each reopening with new ideas, which we are now working on for the 2015 season,” added Danièle Garcelon, CEO of the Monte-Carlo Beach.

We hope to see you on 6 March 2015 for the Hotel’s grand reopening and on Saturday 18 April for the Club reopening.
